About

Hotel Eliseo

Hotel Eliseo sits on a tranquil street in Rome’s historic centre, a short walk from both the Villa Borghese park and the Spanish Steps. The property occupies a traditional building with a nostalgic charm — guests have noted the vintage key system and the terrace restaurant that offers views over the city. The location earns strong marks (9/10) from past visitors, who appreciate the proximity to Trevi Fountain (14 minutes on foot) and the easy bus connections to the Vatican.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, though some guests remark that furnishings are a little dated. The hotel provides a standard set of amenities: air conditioning, mini-bar, flat-screen TV, and free toiletries. Breakfast is served in a bright room with a cold buffet; the top-floor terrace adds a pleasant setting. The 24-hour reception, express check-in/out, and luggage storage offer practical convenience for travellers. Note that pets are not allowed.

“A perfectly pleasant stay with no complaints. The hotel is thoroughly enjoyable, the staff are exceedingly polite, and the Wi-Fi is reliable. A wide selection of food is available, and the quality is excellent. Ciampino airport is easily reachable, roughly 20 km away.”

“Every member of staff we encountered was helpful and friendly, particularly the bar manager. The bar area was pleasant, and the breakfast room was appealing, offering a good cold buffet.”

7.6Verified guest

“The location is excellent — a quiet street yet within walking distance of the Spanish Steps. Transport connections are strong, with both bus and metro stops at the corner.”

“A fantastic location near Via Veneto but without the associated noise or traffic. The rates are great. While the furnishings are a bit dated and worn, everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally accommodating. The 116 bus across the street costs just €1 and covers all the main sights. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafés within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again. Rooms on the fifth floor have balconies overlooking Villa Borghese — trees partly obscure the view, but it is still a nice outlook.”
